Make-You-Feel-Better Tomato Soup

1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 large onion -- chopped
1 clove garlic -- crushed
1 teaspoon basil -- dried
1 teaspoon oregano
28 ounces tomatoes, canned -- chopped or crushed or both
1 cup broth
1/4 teaspoon salt
(This is so easy you might as well make a double recipe.)
In a medium saucepan, heat the oil. Sauté the onions, garlic, basil and oregano for 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes, broth, and salt.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
