Quick Potato Chowder

1 med onion -- chopped
1 pkg betty Crocker Hash Brown mix -- dry
15 oz corn, canned
45 oz chicken broth -- (3 cans)
1 tsp dill weed
1/2 tsp Cavender's seasoning -- or other combination seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp light sour cream
Using cooking spray, sauté onion in 3 qt pan until lightly brown. Add broth, corn, hash brown mix, seasonings (to taste) and cook on high heat. When the potatoes are tender and have dissolved a little into the broth, stir in the sour cream. (1% milk could be substituted.)
Serve. Garnish with a small pinch of cheddar cheese and/or imitation bacon bits, or perhaps thinly sliced green onions.

This is a savory soup and one could add any number of other seasonings to add to the flavor.
