Pizza Dough for Bread Machines
Experienced bread makers should be able to adapt the recipe to other methods.



1 C +2T water
1 ¼ t salt
1 ½ T olive oil
3 C bread flour
2 T dry milk
1 pkg yeast


Combine ingredients according to bread machine's directions. Process on dough cycle. Remove dough from machine and divide into 6 equal portions (I weigh portions-each should be about 4 oz.) Roll each into a 9" circle. Pierce all over with fork to eliminate puffing while baking.

I bake each crust in a pizza oven for 5 minutes before adding other ingredients. Experiment with regular oven at 350° or 400°. Selections for toppings follow. Bake 5-15 minutes longer to finish. You will need to experiment with your baking situation to see what works for you.

There is a variety of provolone that is 1 point per slice.

Pepperoni--turkey pepperoni, pizza sauce, mozzarella or provolone
Chicken--grilled chicken, white cheese ragu sauce, onion, green olives, canned mushrooms, cheddar
